Don’t

Rosie was sitting in the coffee house having coffee and working on her laptop. She was deep in concentration when a man walked up to her table.

“I’m sorry to interrupt you,” he said. “But I couldn’t help but notice what an attractive woman you are and I was wondering…”

Rosie cut the man off with her stare. The man was not good looking at all. He had crooked teeth and pimples on his face. His clothes were slightly disheveled and Rosie knew right away that he just wasn’t her type.

“Don’t,” she said to him.

“What do you mean, ‘don’t’?” he asked her

“I mean don’t try to pick up on me. It won’t work,” she said to him rather sternly.

The man looked at her. He didn’t know what to say so he turned on his heel and walked away.

“And that’s how you do that,” Rosie said to herself then she dus
